About Christin
I’m Christin Rempel, a registered social worker passionate about helping children and families navigate life’s challenges. Since starting my career as a social worker in 2008, I’ve dedicated my work to supporting children with varying abilities and families from all walks of life.
I approach my practice from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and strength-based perspective, always meeting children where they are developmentally. My expertise lies in therapeutic play therapy, and I have a deep understanding of its foundational principles, which I integrate into my sessions.
Creating a safe and welcoming environment is my top priority, where children feel heard and valued. I believe that the best connections happen at eye level, so whether it’s engaging in games, creative play, or art, I’m right there on the floor, making therapy a comfortable and engaging experience. I’m here to help children work through anxiety, depression, family separation, grief and loss, and experiences with bullying. My goal is to empower them to build lasting confidence and self-esteem, fostering resilience and emotional well-being that will support them throughout their lives.
I offer individual and family therapy sessions to individuals ages 6 and older.
