About Maja
Hi! My name is Maja and I am a Learning Strategist and ADHD Coach. I have an honours degree in psychology and a Clear Change Coaching Skills (CSC) certificate. I have enjoyed gaining experience in various positions where I have had the opportunity to work with children, youth, and adults with ADHD and learning disabilities, both one-on-one and in a classroom setting.
Some executive functioning challenges that I commonly work with include time management, planning/prioritizing, task initiation/follow-through, focus, organization, and emotional regulation. I enjoy exploring what motivates each person and working together to figure out one’s learning style.
I view coaching as a supportive partnership where I provide encouragement and feedback, ask insightful questions, help to identify and maximize an individual’s strengths, and offer strategies for success to enhance overall well-being and bring balance to day-to-day life. I value honest and open communication where me and the individual work together as a team to overcome barriers to reaching their goals. I believe that working alongside individuals at their own pace and providing an accepting and non-judgemental environment allows for growth in so many areas. There is nothing wrong with having a bit of help to get to where you want to be. I look forward to working with children, youth, and young adults up to age 25!
