Whitney Fraser, MSW, RSW

Social Worker | Therapist | Trauma-Informed & Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice

Whitney is a dedicated and empathetic social worker with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and over a decade of experience in the mental health field. She has worked with individuals across the lifespan, from children to adults, and is deeply committed to providing therapeutic support that honors each person’s unique experiences and needs. Whitney approaches therapy through a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming lens and believes that connection and safety are the foundations of a successful therapeutic experience. In her practice, Whitney utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Positive Psychology, play-based therapies, and Polyvagal Theory. Whitney also incorporates neuroscience-based strategies to help individuals understand how their nervous systems respond to stress, trauma, and emotional regulation. This understanding enables clients to engage in strategies that support and soothe their nervous system during challenging moments and life’s difficulties. This holistic approach fosters greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healing.

Whitney has experience working with a variety of mental health challenges and experiences including anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress and burnout. She also has specialized training, education and lived experience in neurodivergence. She enjoys working with individuals who identify as being neurodivergent or individuals exploring neurodiversity.

Whitney is excited to offer individual and family therapy for individuals aged 8 and older, providing a safe, affirming, and neuroscience-informed space where clients can heal, grow, and thrive.
